Display of Knowledge Engine Navigation

A General, Static, Structural navigation will be the display of a series of VHF transverse sections with annotations.

An example of a Special, Dynamic, Structural navigation would be the animating of the intermaxillary relation at the temporo-mandibular joint during mastication.

General: The local geometry of a number of anatomical features

Special: Geometry pertaining to only one structure

Static: A series of images of the same fixed structure

Dynamic: Alterations of object geometry

Structural: Limited to annotation of the General case

Functional: Access to additional databases (e.g. mechanical properties, electrical activity)
