Just-in-time learning and simulation tools
to keep
healthcare personnel prepared for emergencies
A key ingredient of emergency preparedness, in the event
of terrorist
attacks and other disasters that can befall a population, is Internet
enabled just-in-time information. This will allow rapid adaptation to
decrease the response time for rapidly changing emergency situations.
UMVHP
is working with its partners and homeland security organizations
to provide healthcare personnel with the tools to be prepared for emergencies.
This work will be based on the recommendations contained in the report
