| The University of Michigan Visible Human Project was a presenter at the State-of-the Art Symposium on Telemedicine/Telehealth an International Perspective, held on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on August 23-25, 2001. The event was co-sponsored by the World Health Organization and the University of Michigan Health System. Other support came from the National Library of Medicine, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Technology Opportunity Program of the Department of Commerce, Office for the Advancement of Telehealth and Agency for Health Care Research and Quality of the Department of Health and Human Services, Telemedicine and Advanced Research Technology Center, US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, Ronya and George Koznetsky Foundation, and others. |
